“A perfect place to relax”
We spent 4 nights at the Lipe Beach Resort, in a wooden beachfront bungalow and had a fantastic holiday. Jackie made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and Jenny's fruit punch were just what we needed after the transfer from Langkawi. Even "Bogey" (French Bulldog) came over to welcome us - or check out who was coming to his beach!
The resort is at the quieter end of Sunrise Beach although the longboat engines become a customary background noise a few times a day. The food in the Elephant Bar/Restaurant was very tasty and the service from the staff was excellent. It is not a 5* hotel, so don't expect marble en suite bathroom and air conditioning (the ceiling fan was more than adequate to cool us together with sea breeze).
I can't comment on what the accommodation would be like had we been further back from the beach - if beachfront units are available I would definitely recommend the extra cost. If you're looking to get away from it all and relax on an empty beach with good food and drink nearby then look no further.Book now

“If heaven was a Beach”
We stayed here from October 1st until the 8th. We had a truly remarkable stay. We booked the Beachfront Wooden Bungalow which came with a four-poster kingsize bed, mosquito net, a daybed outside and attached bathroom. One step out and you are right smack on the middle of the beach. As mentioned by other reviewers the food and drinks are not the cheapest on the island but the ambiance (candle lights at night, mega chill swing lounge, good and relaxing music to name a few) are sooo worth the few extra bahts ;)
The staff are great always ready for a chat and a laugh but never pushing for your next order, so good if you just wanna hang out and relax.
The Lipe Beach Resort beach is truly wonderful. There are the unavoidable longtail boats but if you don't like them you can stay away from all thai islands is our experience. The dogs are so much fun they have a pack of 5 and we love them. We stayed in low season and they bring a nice vibe to the place.
We would stay here again within a heartbeat!!! Thank you for a pleasant and true island experience.Book now

Good location on Sunrise beach, away from most other resorts on quite a busy beach.
Only a ten minute walk to Walking Street. Beach and view were amazing.
Arrived early morning and were greeted with welcome drinks. Able to check in straight away. Stayed in a bamboo hut on 2nd row. Mosquito nets are provided - you will need them.
Wooden bungalows looked more attractive to stay in, would definitely recommend the first row.
The resort's dogs were full of character and lots of fun to play with in the sea!
Overall it had its pros and cons but the location is sublime.Book now

Basic resort but in superb location on Sunrise beach. I stayed in villa located 4th row from the seaside.
I spent most of my time swimming and enjoying the sea breeze by the sea side.
If you get off at Pattaya Beach, to get to Sunrise beach might take about 15 mins walking distance. Like the location of this beach as it is in between the Pattaya Beach and Sunset Beach.
There's a school next to the resort and you can get cheap yet delicious noodles and local snacks from the food stall near to the school.
Love the "lobby" of this resort and the resting area which is facing the beach. Do consider this resort if you are a budget traveller.Book now
